Tandem Canoe Training
Learn the basics of canoeing

This is a two day course. The first day will be spent at Core Creek learning and practice the essential strokes to get your canoe to go where you want it to go. Safety and good technique will be emphasized. The second day will take place on the Delaware River at Lambertville. Skills such as eddy turns and ferries will be taught along with reading water skills and the day will finish with a short run down the Delaware where you will get to do some surfing. You will practice and learn both the bow and stern strokes. You will be in the canoe with an experienced paddler to coach you along with group demonstrations.
