We love the snakes and bugs on display. The staff makes this place though. Everyone is so excited about what they do there. Every nature walk, campfire night and special event my family has been to is memorable because of the staff and volunteers.

Trails, birds, butterflies outside and in the Butterfly House, ponds, cozy room inside with a view, and on and on. Great place.
- Sue, Edison NJ (It's worth the trip!)
CNC is a hidden gem in Bucks County. You step into a place full of beauty around every corner. I took both of my children here as babies, as our quiet place. As toddlers, they played in the gardens and playgrounds and loved to explore inside. We are members. Both my children and the CNC have grown so much in the past 15 years. The Garden is extraordinary, like a fairytale. The butterfly house is an amazing experience and we have grown butterflies at home. I buy all my plants from CNC now.

CNC is a hidden gem centrally located for all to enjoy. While the field trips are educational, I also enjoyed hosting my son’s Birthday party here! The trails and surroundings are beautiful and the library is so peaceful. I plan to return with my family to take in the exquisite scenery that CNC offers.
- Lauren, Huntingdon Valley
We really enjoy the natural areas and gardens, plant sales and Bux-Mont organic group plant swap and related activities, as well the volunteer activities. Looking forward to seeing a connecting trail soon!
- Michael and Valerie, Warrington
I love the Saturday morning bird walks at CNC with the best birders on the county. We once saw the Olive-sided Flycatcher, a "lifer" bird for us. It's wonderful when this occurs at this most beloved place on Earth!
-Vinobha, Warrington
So many things to love at CNC! I love the habitats the trails meander through - meadows, ponds, woods, and shorelines. The center also attracts all ages and types of folks from near and far, who love nature.
-Tanya, Doylestown Township
As a longtime volunteer at CNC, I love that the center's staff respect and appreciate the knowledge that I bring to the types of projects I do or help with, at the center.
-Dave, Langhorne
My son loves seeing the snakes inside and looking for them outside (lol!)
- Karen, Warminster
We love burning off energy meandering through the paths. It’s a beautiful way to leave everything else behind!
- Julie, Holland
I learned about CNC in 1989 when I was pregnant. My husband and I walked the trails often. Once my son was walking, we brought him to the trails. It was like the bunny slope for all the hiking he does today because he works at an env. ed. center and lives on the center’s campus in the woods. My son is so happy with his life and with what he’s doing. Thank you, CNC, for the early beginnings of what would become his career and happy life! As for me, I am a CNC volunteer and its my chance to spend at least once a week in surroundings that feel friendly, beautiful and peaceful.

I read in the paper that CNC needed volunteers for a new program on the Lenape Indians. Already knew much about the tribe since they are in my family tree. Enjoyed making pottery so I signed up to develop the Pottery Station. What an amazing experience - changed my life! Made life-long friendships and had experiences I will never forget.
- Cindy (Former Lenape Village Director), Mesa, Arizona
I am amazed that this beauty is so close to home! I brought my children here and now visit with my grandchildren. They love the playground, live reptiles, bird blind, and trails. The programs are fun!
-Donna, Richboro
I love CNC because it was a part of my life growing up in Feasterville. It has brought this community the beauty of nature, it educates people about the surrounding environment, and it provides tranquil space for thoughtful meditation.
- Michele, Holland
I’ve been coming to CNC since I was in diapers and will probably keep coming until I’m old and in diapers again! It’s been a pleasure volunteering and now I’ll begin working here as an employee. The beauty, care, and dedication of all involved, has made this treasure one that I hope others can enjoy.

The pleasant staff, the sizable collection of wildlife specimens, the trails, but most of all – the calm of Springfield Lake. My family and I love Churchville Nature Center!
- Bobby, Langhorne
We love this place. It's so serene. The gardens are beautiful and colorful. The walking trails relaxing. We love seeing how many frogs we can find in the little ponds in the garden. Thank you for this lovely place and the annual wildflower sale. Truly grateful for the access to nature and native plants.

In many cases, approaching 60 is considered approaching middle age. Yet at 60, CNC remains young, vibrant and still growing. As a "veteran" volunteer visitor aide, I have had the pleasure of greeting visitors of all ages. Some of my favorite visitors are those who recall visiting as children on school trips or with their families, and in later years share that pleasure with their children and grandchildren. It gives me great joy to see children as young as two, walk through the door with joy in their eyes as they take in the sights. It also amazes me to hear young children share their love of nature. Thank you, CNC, for being here!

- Bob, Langhorne
We had a wonderful birthday celebration for our daughter at Churchville when she was in 6th grade; it was meaningful, memorable and fun for all. Our son enjoyed cub scout activities there. I loved walking through the garden sections, especially enjoying the spring ephemerals. Shopping for perennials is a "perennial favorite" activity for me!
- Barbara, Newtown
Being able to connect to nature in the busyness of urban Bucks County is a wonderful experience that the center supplies. Their programs and events are informative and bring so many together. I look forward to what they will offer next. You can always count on a friendly face to greet you!
-Taylor, Bensalem
I learn so much here about plants and birds and what habitats they like. This is a great place to visit and get out of the hustle and bustle. I love it here – great staff and tons of things to see and do.
- June, Doylestown
I grew up near Churchville Nature Center and have great childhood memories of exploring and playing at the nature center!
