Get back to nature by supporting our non-profit through volunteering!
Volunteers at Churchville Nature Center are involved in helping our facility operate and grow. Whether you are a regular or doing a one-off outing, all volunteers add to the value of our work to provide high quality educational experiences and ecosystem preservation.
Volunteers work with our dedicated staff to do everything from trail clean-ups to teaching in our native butterfly house. It is hard work managing a non-profit nature center and it is through volunteer efforts that we have provided the residents of Bucks County, and beyond, memorable, nature based experiences since 1964.
To operate smoothly, we do require that all event and specialized volunteers be at least 14 years old and accompanied by a guardian until 16. This age restriction does not apply to clean-ups or scout projects.
If you are looking for mandated community service hours, please click HERE to be directed to our Community Service Page to find out how to fulfill your hours with us.
How can I apply to be a volunteer?
If you are interested in volunteering, consider filling out our general application form below and either emailing it to Bill Woodroffe at wpwoodroffe@buckscounty.org or returning it to the visitor desk. We will then direct you to the appropriate member of the staff to discuss how we can get you involved. Please note that we do not have a dedicated volunteer coordinator so there may be a lag in responses for new volunteers. We do not want to lose you so feel free to check-in on the status of your request if you do not hear back from us within a week's time.
You may also call and leave a message of interest to 267-880-5033, however, emails are preferred. The brochure and application below are NOT for Court Mandated Community Service. Fill out a form only if you want to volunteer to get involved, better your community, or to fulfill school/scout requirements.
