Churchville Nature Center
We Are Built On Volunteering!
Volunteer Pride!
Here at Churchville Nature Center, we could not function without all of our passionate volunteers. Whether they are here weekly or for a one-time event, ever person is a crucial cog in keeping this place running.
Each year volunteers dedicate thousands of hours helping out at events, maintenance, animal care, visitor aiding and a variety of other jobs around the center.
On this page we wanted to highlight some of the wonderful people you may meet on your next visit to the Churchville Nature Center.
Remember, if you are interested in volunteering, we are always happy to chat. CLICK HERE to see how you can get involved. Maybe one day you will be on this page too!

Our Grounds & Maintenance Crew are the folks who take care of the grounds, carpentry, and maintenance needs here at the Churchville Nature Center. A passionate group, most of them participate in other volunteer areas of the center including events & programming, wildlife counts, and as visitor aides at the front desk.

The first people most visitors meet are our wonderful visitor aides who dedicate time each week
to manage our front desk. They take calls, assist guests, and help out around the center.

We embrace all kinds of group volunteering. Whether it is for school, the scouts, or a business wanting to give back to the community, we enjoy working with organizations interested in helping us with the center's maintenance & stewardship needs. We will work with your organization on finding the perfect role to fill with us.
