Outdoor Adventure Awaits...
Churchville Nature Center offers a wide range of programs for Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. We offer badge walks & night-hike campfires that are designed to work towards specific badges in a fun, educational, & affordable experience.

The lessons we offer are kept up-to-date to fulfill the requirements of the current badge programs. We can accommodate some badges not listed in our brochures; however, we do not supply craft components for badges that require them.

Scout Service Projects
The center works year-round with scout groups, eagle scouts and girl scouts seeking bronze, silver & gold award projects. Projects vary widely depending on the interests of the group or individual. We are always open to new ideas!
In the past groups have worked on invasive plant removals, trash clean-ups and planting projects among other activities around the property. Individual projects may include removals/plantings as well, or may be projects such producing educational displays, building of new trails/structures, repairing existing structures or making gardens. Recent projects have included building raised garden beds, installing fences, repairing the boardwalk and replacing the roof of our historic springhouse (pictured left).
